After a period of prayerful contemplation, Beverly Manor Missionary Baptist Church, the operational authority for Illinois Baptist College, determined to cease college operations after the end of the Spring 2020 semester. We are thankful to the churches and individuals who have contributed to the mission of Illinois Baptist College in our 55-year history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Illinois Baptist College, originally named Illinois Missionary Baptist Institute, began in 1964. According to the college\u2019s catalog, \u201cwith II Timothy 2:15 in mind, members of Beverly Manor Missionary Baptist Church were convicted of the need of a training station for preachers.\u201d The institution has stayed true to its independent Baptist roots by maintaining a non-accredited status for the duration of its operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
